lots of Japanese artists, which have disappointed me last few years... IMHO Japanese music is in extreme crisis. 99% songs sounds the same! And even Ayumi Hamasaki isn't that good like in 2005...

Hmm, I do agree with you for some of the Japanese music nowadays.

But there are artists that are unique, such as l'Arc~en~Ciel (including their "flipside band" P'UNK~EN~CIEL), UVERworld and Nightmare.

Then there are bands on the "underground" side of music like Dir en Grey.

Also, Yoko Kanno produces very unique music, which has been used constantly in anime, so her style is easily recognised.

Its not suspicious that these artists are all in my chart however. Really.

Damn... 15 mistakes in all... and 2 in my previous post.
